Offerings from IJK have gone through expansion and evolution over these years. However, one thing which has remained firm and constant is our focus on a single point i.e. bringing India and Japan closer through this diverse bouquet of business offerings.
Through IJK's service offerings such as market research, India entry services, tax advisory services, language services we have helped not only many Small and Medium Enterprises but also large Japanese as well as Indian companies and their business linkages. Across varied industry verticals such as FMCG, Publishing, Construction, Pharmaceutical customers have been availing our services. IJK in recent years also has forayed into product trading business between India and Japan, which can be mutually enriching. IJK has played an important role in facilitating high-level bilateral discussions between India and Japan.
Sustainability and social relevance have been a key fulcrum of IJK’s business engagements. We are proud that we have been executing partner to Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) funded projects of Japanese companies. IJK has also featured in the 2018 whitepaper of Japan ODA report published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan, for our role in doing a project for promoting environment, hygiene cause through storytelling to school children.
Since 1994, my personal and professional association with Japan have deepened my value and beliefs about India and understanding of Japanese values and best practices. These have not only been profoundly humbling but also have ushered IJK’s overall activities.
Amidst the increasingly interdependent, interconnected world and the rise of the Asian economy, countries taking advantage of complementarity despite cultural diversities are essential. In this context, India and Japan share historically excellent bilateral ties and are natural partners to each other.
